Fasnacloich is accessible by an excellent road off the A828 and sits on the shores of a small loch in the mountains of Glen Creran.

There are beautiful woodlands nearby and a river which leads out into the main loch, Loch Creran, which adjoins Loch Linnhe and main gateway to the islands of the Inner Hebrides.

The Old Quarriers 4 Star Cottage is located in the small peaceful village of Ballachulish, only one mile from Glencoe Village. This property is over 150 years old and was used in the past by men whom used to work at the world famous slate Quarry which is located in the village of Ballachulish, the quarry has been closed for years.

The village of Ballachulish is situated next to the beautiful Loch Leven, from the cottage a five minute walk gets you to the loch side. There is a local water sports centre where you can hire a boat, water bike or even a cruiser for the day. Whitewater rafting, horseriding, flying and skiing its all here in Glencoe along with the world famous hill climbing of course.

The mountains above provide excellent hill walking for those who want to climb in the area. Like all mountains in the Argyll ranges, they should be treated with respect in all seasons but particularly in the winter months where they can be as challenging as any Alpine mountain.

Ben Vheir Cottage is situated in the West Highlands of Scotland near Glencoe and enjoys stunning views of Loch Linnhe and the mountains. The cottage adjoins our main house, and is the part of the building furthest from the road and nearest to the water making it very quiet and peaceful. The convenient lochside setting provides for both open views and easy access to spectacular countryside.

The cottage is equipped with television, iron, garden furniture, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, electric hob and oven, timed electric wall heaters and a cosy wood burning stove in the living-room. The wood burning stove will be set ready to light . Additional wood can be purchased locally from the garage /shop.
